Faces of Conservation
The BC Wildlife Federation has always aimed to protect, enhance and promote the wise use of the environment for the benefit of present and future generations. However, these acts of conservation rarely receive the attention they deserve. The "Faces of Conservation" page shares conservation stories of BCWF clubs and club members that demonstrates how hunters and anglers are at the forefront of conservation in BC. These articles also aim to inspire others to initiate their own conservation projects.
On this page, you'll find links to conservation stories involving stream restoration, habitat enhancement, wetland clean-ups and more.
Financial support to initiate this project was provided by:
Since 1985, Wildlife Habitat Canada, a national, non-profit charitable conservation organization, has invested over $60 million to support hundreds of conservation projects on private and public lands across Canada, through its granting program. Wildlife Habitat Canada works through partnerships with communities, landowners, governments, non-government organizations, and industry to conserve, enhance, and restore wildlife habitat.
